I am based in Cork City and I travel throughout Cork county with an occasional “over the border”.

The internet, along with many professional photographers, urge us to believe that a newborn photography session needs to happen in the first 2 weeks of life..

Yes! They are sleepy, milk drunk, curled up snuggly balls that scrunch into that little space inside your elbow.

But I will proudly remind you that your baby will be just as gorgeous weeks and weeks and weeks later. With added bonuses of their opening eyes, dimples & new smiles you are beginning to get to know.

They may even be in their "purée-up-their-nose” stage !

Their super photogenic state is a long one.

A gentle but stern reminder - pressure is for tyres, not for new mums.

On a daily basis I witness the endeavours of the incredible women delivering these little ones .. I will never advocate photographing a mum who isn’t ready herself.

If you are considering booking a newborn shoot, please fill out the form on the website. I aim to respond within 48hrs. We can pencil in a date around your due date.

As a midwife, I understand the events of when and how these babies like to arrive.

We can have a chat after your delivery and reconfirm a session date that suits both mum & baby (& poor dad!).

I won’t be in a rush if you won’t.

My approach will be baby-led. Slow and natural.

Please leave 1-2 hours of your day for the session.

Running and racing causes glistening sweat and flushed cheeks. No one wants that for you.

No. Not really.

Once we have confirmed a date, I will send you a Newborn Session Preparation Guide. This may give you an idea of how the session will go.

But really and truly, there is very little to do.

I aim to deliver galleries within four weeks of their session.

Your digital album will be delivered through a personal online gallery in high resolution.

It is a beautiful platform to view, download, print & share your family photographs.

Quality over quantity will always be maintained.

I will only deliver images edited and finished to the best standard. I will aim to deliver 20-30 high quality images per session.

Please refrain from re-editing my completed work. A fair reminder that photography is an act of creativity.

Images will only be used for lawful purposes; including portfolio, marketing, and competitions.

Images would be carefully selected when used. The aim is to keep your family session super close-knit.

Naturally however, some shots are too good to not share!

You are welcome to decline their use (in writing please, who doesn’t love a paper trail!).

Should an unexpected event arise (sick kiddo, etc.), I get it — nothing is set in stone when smallies are involved!

It will be disappointing for you as you may have gotten the nails done. But I will be fine, you will be fine, the nails will be fine. We will reschedule.

Please be mindful that very late cancellations may block opportunities for others who may have interest.

That being said - you are more than welcome to transfer your session to a loved one, just let me know.
